Thistlethwaite Falls is a small place that you can explore in just a couple of hours. Its main attractions, in our opinion, are its waterfalls and fossil deposits. If you have children or enjoy exploring, this is a great place to spend the day. Unfortunately, the area can sometimes have a slight odor, and there are homeless encampments in some parts of the woods. Even so, we believe it is still a beautiful place to visit and a fun spot to take kids fossil hunting.
