The Indiana War Memorial & Museum in downtown Indianapolis is one of the most impressive historical museums in the state. You can explore exhibits about the wars Indiana participated in, admire the famous Shrine Room inspired by the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, and walk through several galleries filled with military history and memorial monuments.
